Gangs of Lagos (Original Soundtrack) shi ne kundin sautin sauti wanda Tolu Obanro ya tsara don fim ɗin 2023 na wasan kwaikwayo na Najeriya na Gangs na Legas, [1] wanda Jade Osiberu ya jagoranta. An fitar da shi ne a ranar 7 ga Afrilu, 2023, daidai lokacin da fim ɗin ya fito a Najeriya. Waƙar tana nuna nau'ikan nau'ikan nau'ikan kiɗan da ke nuna zurfin al'adu da tunanin fim ɗin. [2]
Background
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Tolu Obanro was announced as the composer for Gangs of Lagos, marking another collaboration with director Jade Osiberu,[1][2] following his work on the score for Brotherhood (2022).[3] Obanro began his career working in the oil and gas industry but eventually transitioned to music, pursuing his passion full-time.[4] Initially, he worked as a music producer for gospel artists such as Mike Abdul, Kenny Kore, and Monique. Over time, he expanded his expertise to include music production and film scoring.[5]
Obanro's first foray into film scoring came after working on several YouTube projects. His debut feature film score was for Your Excellency, followed by the critically acclaimed Netflix series King of Boys: The Return of the King in 2021.[6] The soundtrack also features an additional song by Chike.[7]
