Abinci na yanayi yana nufin lokutan shekara lokacin da girbi ko dandano na wani nau'in abinci da aka ba shi yana da girma. Wannan yawanci shine lokacin da aka girbe abu, tare da wasu banbanci; misali shine dankali mai zaki wanda aka fi cinyewa makonni da yawa bayan girbi. Abinci na yanayi yana rage hayakin iskar gas wanda ya haifar da amfani da abinci kuma yana da mahimmanci a cikin abincin carbon. Abinci na macrobiotic yana jaddada cin abinci da aka shuka a cikin gida wanda ke cikin yanayi.[1]

An kafa abincin yanayi na Koriya a kan yanayin yanayi na halitta inda canje-canje a rayuwar noma da yanayi huɗu suka kasance a bayyane, kuma sun bambanta dangane da gazawar, wanda ke da tasiri daga yanayin ƙasa daban-daban. 'Ya'yan itace da aka yi amfani da su sun hada da 'ya'yan itacen kamar lemun tsami, lemun tsayi, nectarines, mulberry, cherries, plums, apricot, inabi, pomegranates, watermelon, pears, apple, da melon. A halin yanzu, abin sha ya haɗa da syrups da jams. 'Ya'yan itace pastels, lemun tsami, rose, jasmine, ginger da fennel.

A cikin kaka, abinci sun haɗa da kabewa, cauliflower, karoshi, celery, gourd, alkama, sha'ir, millet, turnips, parsnips, albasa, acorns, peanuts, pulses, da man zaitun. Abin sha ya haɗa da ganye masu ƙanshi da furanni masu mahimmanci.

Amfani da abinci bisa ga wadatar sa na yanayi na iya rage hayakin iskar gas wanda ya haifar da amfani da abinci (milin abinci). Dangane da binciken 2021 da Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ta goyi bayan, fiye da kashi ɗaya bisa uku na hayakin gas na duniya ya fito ne daga samar da abinci, sarrafawa, da marufi.[2][3]
