Amadou Cheiffou (an haife shi a ranar 1 ga watan Disamba shekarar 1942) ɗan siyasan Nijar ne wanda ya kasance Firayim Minista na Nijar daga ranar 26 ga watan Oktoba shekarar 1991 zuwa 17 ga watan Afrilu shekarar 1993, yana shugabancin gwamnatin riƙon ƙwarya. Ya jagoranci jam'iyyar Social Democratic Rally (RSD-Gaskiya), wata jam'iyyar siyasa, tun lokacin da a ka kafa ta a watan Janairun shekarar 2004. Cheiffou shi ne Shugaban Majalisar Tattalin Arziki, Tattalin Arziki da Al'adu ta Kasar Nijar (CESOC) daga watan Janairun shekarar 2006 zuwa watan Fabrairun shekarar 2010, kuma ya riƙe muƙamin Ombudsman daga watan Agusta shekarar 2011 zuwa watan Disamba shekarar 2015.

Ya gama karatu daga ENAC, [1] Cheiffou dan Fula ne [2] [3] kuma an haife shi ne a Kornaka, a Sashen Maradi, a shekarar 1942. Kafin zama Firayim Minista, Cheiffou ya yi aiki a Dakar a matsayin wakili na Hukumar Kula da Sufurin Jiragen Sama ta Duniya (ICAO) don Afirka ta Tsakiya da Yammacin Afirka. Ya kasance wakili na kungiyar Nigeran Nijer da ke atasashen Waje a Taron Kasa na shekarar 1991; a wurin Taron, shi ne zabin sasantawa don matsayin Firayim Minista, kodayake wakilai da ke wakiltar gwamnati sun yi adawa da shi, kuma an zabe shi a 26 ga watan Oktoba shekarar 1991. Ya kuma yi aiki a matsayin Ministan Tsaro na kasa a lokacin. Tare da Shugaba Saibou da André Salifou, Shugaban Majalisar Ƙoli ta Jamhuriya, Taron Kasa sun hana shi tsayawa takara a zaɓen shugaban ƙasa na watan Fabrairun shekarar v1993. [6]

Ya zuwa shekarar 2002, Cheiffou shi ne Babban Daraktan Yankin ICAO na Ofishin Yammacin Afirka da Tsakiyar ta. [7]

Cheiffou ya kasance Mataimakin Shugaban Jam’iyyar Demokradiyya da Taron Jama’a (CDS-Rahama) kafin ya balle tare da waccan jam’iyyar da Shugabanta, Mahamane Ousmane, ya kuma ƙirƙiro nasa jam’iyya, Social Democratic Rally (RSD-Gaskiya), a watan Janairun shekarar 2004. A zaben shugaban kasa da aka gudanar a ranar 16 ga watan Nuwamba shekarar 2004, Cheiffou ya zama na hudu daga cikin ‘yan takara shida, inda ya lashe kashi 6.35% na kuri’un. An zaɓe shi ga Majalisar Dokoki ta Kasa a zaɓen majalisar dokoki na watan Disamba shekarar 2004 a matsayin dan takarar RSD a yankin Maradi.

Lokacin da Shugaba Mamadou Tandja ya nada mambobi tamanin da biyar (85) na Majalisar Tattalin Arziki, Al'adu da Al'adu (CESOC) a ranar 3 ga watan Janairun shekarar 2006, Cheiffou ya zama Shugaban CESOC.

RSD ta goyi bayan Shugaba Tandja a lokacin rikicin siyasa na shekarar 2009, kuma ya shiga cikin zaben majalisar dokoki na watan Oktoba shekarar 2009. 'Yan adawar, waɗanda suka fusata da kokarin Shugaba Tandja na sauya kundin tsarin mulki domin ya ci gaba da mulki, sun kauracewa zaben. Kungiyar Tattalin Arzikin kasashen Afirka ta Yamma (ECOWAS), wacce ta bukaci a jinkirta zaɓen da fatan shawo kan rikicin siyasa, ta dakatar da Nijar daga cikinta nan da nan bayan an gudanar da zaɓen. Cheiffou ya kasance cikin mambobi 22 na Jamhuriyar Nijar da suka yi tattaki zuwa Abuja don tattaunawa da ECOWAS daga ranar 9 ga watan Nuwamba shekarar 2009. [8]

Har yanzu yana aiki a matsayin Shugaban CESOC, Cheiffou ya tsaya takara a zaɓen cikin gida na watan Disamba shekarar 2009 kuma aka zabe shi a matsayin kansila na birni a Kornaka. Shawarar da Cheiffou ya yanke na neman muƙamin na gida an dauke ta da matuƙar birgewa, kasancewar ba safai manyan shugabannin siyasa a Nijar ke yin hakan ba. [9]

A ranar 10 ga watan Fabrairun shekarar 2011, ya sanar da goyon bayansa ga Mahamadou Issoufou, wanda ya sanya na farko, a zagaye na biyu na watan Maris din shekarar 2011. Ya marawa Issoufou baya tare da wasu 'yan takarar da dama da ba su yi nasara ba, yana mai ƙarfafa matsayin Issoufou a kan abokin hamayyarsa na biyu, Seyni Oumarou . [10] Bayan Issoufou ya ci zaɓe, an naɗa Cheiffou a matsayin Ombudsman a ranar 24 ga watan Agusta shekarar 2011. [11]

A ranar 13 ga watan Disambar shekarar 2015, an ayyana Cheiffou a matsayin dan takarar RSD na zaben shugaban kasa na watan Fabrairun shekarar 2016. [12] Dangane da takararsa, ya mika takardar murabus dinsa a matsayin Ombudsman ga Shugaba Issoufou a ranar 21 ga watan Disambar shekarar 2015, koda yake ya jaddada cewa ba a doka ta bukaci ya yi murabus ba. [13] An zaɓe shi ga Majalisar Dokoki ta Kasa a zaben watan Fabrairu na shekarar 2016. A matsayinsa na mafi dadewar mataimakin, ya shugabanci Majalisar Ƙasa lokacin da ta fara taro a ranar 24 ga watan Maris shekarar 2016, [14] har zuwa lokacin da aka zaɓi Ousseini Tinni a matsayin Shugaban Majalisar Ƙasa a ranar 25 ga watan Maris.
