bangon kalma kayan aikin karatu ne wanda ya ƙunshi tsararriyar tarin kalmomi waɗanda ake nunawa a cikin manyan harufan bayyane akan bango, allo, ko wani farfajiyar nuni a cikin aji. An ƙera bangon kalmar don ya zama kayan aiki na mu'amala don ɗalibai ko wasu su yi amfani da su, kuma ya ƙunshi jerin kalmomi waɗanda za a iya amfani da su yayin rubutu da/ko karantawa. Ana tsammanin yawan bayyanar da kalmomi a cikin yanayi yana haɓaka ƙwaƙwalwar ɗalibai.[1] An nuna bangon kalmomi yana da tasiri wajen koyar da masu koyon Harshen Ingilishi da ɗalibai masu nakasa.[2] [3]

Ana iya amfani da bangon kalmomi a cikin ajujuwa tun daga makarantar gaba da sakandare. Ganuwar kalmomi sun zama ruwan dare gama gari a cikin azuzuwan ga duk wuraren batutuwa. Malaman manyan makarantu suna amfani da bangon kalmomi a wuraren abubuwan da suke ciki don koyar da haruffa, kalmomi, da alamomin lissafi.[5]

Ana ɗaukar bangon kalmomi a matsayin kayan aiki na mu'amala da haɗin gwiwa, kamar yadda ɗalibai ne suka ƙirƙira kayan aikin koyo saboda sassauƙan yanayinsu da iyawar su na "girma" tare da ɗalibai. Bambance-bambancen kalmomin bango a halin yanzu suna wanzuwa, gami da waɗanda ke nuna kwatancen kalmomi da jerin masu launi. Yawancin kalmomin kalmomi ana yin odar su ta haruffa ko a haɗa su don tallafawa wani yanki na nazari.

Za'a iya zaɓar kalmomi ta hanyar fahimtar koyo da farko. Malamai suna tantance ilimin ƙamus na ɗalibai don sanin waɗanne kalmomi ya kamata a bita da waɗanda ya kamata a koya su azaman sabbin kalmomi. Sau da yawa, ana haɗa kalmomi tare da hotuna don haɓaka fahimta.[7]

A cikin bincike na 2007, an gano bangon kalmomi a cikin azuzuwan don inganta ƙwarewar rubutu na ɗalibai masu nakasa. Bugu da ƙari, ɗalibai sun yi amfani da kalmomin da ke kan bangon kalmar a cikin rubutun su, wanda ya inganta rubutun su. Haka kuma an yi tsalle-tsalle a cikin kwarin gwiwar ɗalibai zuwa rubuce-rubuce .[
