Chris Gainor

Gainor has been editor of Quest: The History of Spaceflight Quarterly[2] since 2016. He served as president of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada[3] from 2018 to 2020, and he is a fellow of the British Interplanetary Society. Asteroid 20041 Gainor has been named for him.[4]
Gainor holds a Ph.D. in the history of technology from the University of Alberta, and has worked as a history instructor in the University of Victoria's history department and as an Assistant Professor for the Royal Military College of Canada.[5]
