Joseph Ampah Kojo Essel (An haife shi a shekarar 1921) dan majalisar dokokin Ghana ne mai wakiltar mazabar Dompim daga 1965 zuwa 1966.[1][2][3].

An haifi Essel a shekara ta 1921 a Sefwi-Bekwai a yankin yammacin Ghana (sai Gold Coast).[4] Ya yi karatun Sakandare a Makarantar Sakandaren Gwamnati ta Sefwi-Wiawso inda ya samu Takaddun shaida Bakwai a 1937.[5] Ya shiga Kwalejin Wesley, Kumasi a 1938 amma ya koma Adisadel College shekara guda.[6][7] Kasancewarsa a Kwalejin Adisadel duk da haka, an yanke shi a cikin 1940 lokacin da waliyinsa ya mutu.[8].

Essel ta auri Madam Abena Kunadu wacce aka fi sani da suna, Mary Acquah a cikin 1949 duk da haka, an raba auren a 1955.[9][10] Tare, sun haifi 'ya'ya uku [11]. A shekarar 1950 ya auri Madam Yaa Wiredua kuma tare suka haifi ‘ya’ya uku[12]. Aurensa na biyu ya ƙare a shekara ta 1958.[13] Aurensa na uku shi ne da Madam Theresa Yaa Mansa a shekara ta 1954.[14] Tare kuma sun haifi ‘ya’ya uku[15].
