Narkakken ruwa

Narkakken ruwa na nufin ruwan da ke samuwa daga narkewar dusar ƙanƙara ko kankara, kamar wanda ke fitowa daga dusar ƙanƙara, kankara, ko kankara masu yawo a teku.  Ana samun wannan ruwa ne a lokacin bazara ko lokacin da zafin rana ya karu, wanda ke haifar da narkewar dusar ƙanƙara da kankara.  Hakanan, narkewar kankara na iya faruwa a lokacin fashewar tsaunin wuta ko kuma ta hanyar zafin da ke fitowa daga ƙasa.

Tushen Ruwa: narkakken ruwa yana ba da ruwa mai amfani ga mutane da yawa a duniya, musamman a yankunan da ke dogaro da narkewar dusar ƙanƙara don samun ruwa na sha, noman rani, da kuma samar da wutar lantarki.  

Tasirin Sauyin Yanayi: Sauyin yanayi na haifar da narkewar kankara da dusar ƙanƙara cikin sauri, wanda ke iya haifar da hauhawar matakin teku da kuma barazanar ambaliya.  

Tasirin Muhalli: narkakken ruwa na iya rage hasken da kankara ke nunawa (albedo), wanda ke kara narkewar kankara da dusar ƙanƙara, yana haifar da ƙarin narkewa da kuma tasiri ga tsarin muhalli.

Ambaliya: Tarin narkakken ruwa na iya haifar da ambaliya, musamman idan ya taru a cikin tafkuna na ƙasa (subglacial lakes) ko kuma idan ya haifar da fashewar ƙanƙara.  

Tasirin Rayuwa: Canje-canjen da meltwater ke haifarwa na iya shafar rayuwar dabbobi da tsirrai da ke dogaro da tsarin yanayi mai sanyi.
