Stephen Asamoah Boateng (an haife shi a ranar 18 ga watan Agusta, shekara ta 1958) ɗan siyasan Ghana ne kuma tsohon memba na majalisa na mazabar Mfantsiman West na Yankin Tsakiya Dan Ghana . Ya kasance tsohon Ministan Ci gaban Karkara da Muhalli, Yawon Bude Ido da Dangantakar Diaspora.[1] Boateng kuma tsohon ministan bayanai ne da kuma jagorancin kasa da kuma tsohon babban jami'in zartarwa na kwamitin Kasuwancin Jiha.[2][3] A halin yanzu shi ne Darakta Janar na Hukumar Kula da Harkokin Jiha da Gudanarwa (SIGA).[4][5][6][7]

An haifi Boateng a shekara ta 1958 kuma ya fito ne daga Kormantse a Yankin Tsakiya na Ghana . [1] Ya sami ilimin sa na asali a makarantar firamare ta Konongo Methodist, Makarantun Tsakiya na Majalisar Gundumar Kormantse da Makarantar Tsakiya ta Roman Katolika sannan ya ci gaba da samun babban makarantar sakandare a Konongo / Odumase Senior High School . [2] Boateng ya sami digiri na farko daga Jami'ar Ghana da kuma digiri na biyu a harkokin kasuwanci a Kwalejin Gudanar da Henley Oxfordshire a Ingila. A lokacin da ya zauna a Ingila, ya yi aiki a matsayin Mai ba da shawara kan talla-tallace a Cibiyar Kiwon Lafiya ta Amurka (AMS) na Pfizer Pharmaceuticals . Ya kuma kasance mai ba da shawara kan kasuwanci a Business Link a London da kuma Jami'in Gida a Royal Borough na Kensington, Chelsea . Ya yi aiki a matsayin ma'aikacin gwamnati tare da matsayin mataimakin shagon a Gidan Kiwon Lafiya na Ghana a Kumasi . [3]

Boateng is a member of the 4th parliament of the 4th republic of Ghana.[4] His political career began in his early days as a political activist. He became the President of the Madina Students Union and the secretary of the Central Committee of National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) from 1979 to 1982.[3] He participated in the 2004 general elections as a representative of Mfantseman Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party and was elected as the member of parliament with a total of 28,081 votes out of 49,618 total valid votes cast that year.[5] His constituency was a part of the 16 constituencies won by the New Patriotic Party in the Central region in that elections.[6] His parliamentary term ended in the 2008 general elections after losing his seat to Aquinas Tawiah Quansah of the National Democratic Congress.[7] He was appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo as the executive chairman of the State Enterprise Committee in 2017.[8][2] Boateng was later appointed the director general of the State Interest And Governance (SIGA) Committee by the same president.[9]
