About me
I am Ammar Mukhtar, a certified software engineer and passionate technology advocate. My academic journey has led me from the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM), where I earned my initial certification, to Umaru Musa Yar'adua University, Katsina., where I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science. I am dedicated to leveraging my technical expertise and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to the digital landscape.
My work
I am a software engineer and passionate contributor to Hausa Wikipedia. My contributions focus on writing and editing articles, as well as translating valuable content from English Wikipedia. In 2023, I was proud to achieve fifth place in the Wikipedia Pages Wanting Photos Contest,#WPWPHA helping to enrich articles with engaging visuals. I'm also actively involved in the Hausa Wikimedia community as a facilitator for the monthly edit-a-thons organized by the Hausa Wikimedians User Group, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among fellow editors.
