About me

Hello! I am Khalid Mahmoud , a civil engineering graduate and digital content activist from Sudan. I am a dedicated member and organizer in the Wikimedia Community User Group Sudan, contributing to the development of free knowledge and Arabic content across Wikimedia projects.

I am passionate about promoting open knowledge and empowering local communities through Wikimedia initiatives.

My work

I have contributed to multiple Wikimedia projects, including Arabic Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikiquote. I have created 4 featured-quality articles, translated 6 articles, uploaded around 10 images, and provided over 3,000 image descriptions. I am also one of the participants in the Community Leadership training program, supporting the growth and capacity building of our local Wikimedia community.
