Umar Aliyu Dala was born on February 2, 1980 in Nigeria. He is son to Ambassador Aliyu Dala Hassan of Deba in Gombe State of Nigeria and Zainab (Yelwa) Garba. As at today, 25/05/2025, he is survived by a wife ( Naima Muazu) and 5 children.

Umar has been known to be a naturally silent and talented individual. He studied up to degree level of education and has achieved several success and progress in life as civil servant and self-employed.
