I think this happening because you are trying to use templates that do no exist yet on Wikipedia in Hausa.

For now (unless you have the skill to create templates: in this case, please go forward!), I think it is better not to use templates like cite web or cite news, just mention the reference in plain text between "ref" tags.

I'm User:Masssly from Ghana and a one time contributor to Hausa Wikipedia. There aren't many experienced contributors as of yet on the wiki. Ok!

There are two ways:

1. Either you add the translations directly to the page here: Wikipedia:Databox (and I will add the translations on Wikidata)
2. Or you translate directly on Wikidata: here (it is quite easy: you just have to open the Wikidata website, go to "Preferences" then "Beta features", then click on "Enable all new beta features"; after that, you juste have to open the item you want to translate, click on "Labels list", then "Edit", then type "ha" - the Hausa language code - then add the Hausa translation).

As you can see on Abubakar Shekau, when almost all the properties are translated in Hausa, you just have to add the databox template and in gives a nice box with a lot of information.

It is quite easy to add new articles on Wikidata, you just have to the entry page on Wikidata, then look at the "Wikipedia" box, click on "edit", type the language code ("ha" for Hausa) and then the title of the article. Yes it is always good to provide references, but the articles I create are generally "stubs", short articles with very basic non controversial information that can be verified very easily (such as location, population...). I think one good step forward would be to add the content you were planning to put in this new article to the article on Kaduna (since it is still quite small), for instance under the "Economy" part. Then at some point when the article is too long you will be able to split it.

No, unfortunately screenshots from Google Maps are not allowed because they are copyrighted. However you can use screenshots from Open Street Map, the license is compatible with Wikimedia projects! Are you familiar with it? Their mapping of Nigeria is quite good. As you can see many screenshots have already been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons.

About coordinates of villages in Nigeria, very sadly... as far I know there is very little open data available. The last census was conducted in 2006. I would say the most reliable data available today probably lays within INEC, the national electoral commission (I have done electoral observation with maps provided by the Commission and they were very reliable). Unfortunately as far as I know, you can only access the list of polling stations (see this link) but without any coordinates or data...

With other editors we have created manually all the LGAs of Nigeria, but going further in the current state of available data would be very difficult. –DonCamillo (talk) 08:13, 24 Disamba 2019 (UTC)

I'm doing Niger right now using this document. On Burkina Faso the results of the last census should be available (in French) on this website. For Cameroon I don't know but the website where data could be available is this one (French and English). The census for Ghana should be online too here. Hello DonCamillo, i create a page by clicking on a redlink in the mainpage, after the page have been created, i realise that the page name was incorrect, instead of Fankasau it was written as Funkaso which is wrong. so i try to move the page but it persist, I dont know why, may be from now on it requires admin right, or may be it was linked to mainpage, and we can not edit mainpage directly or indirectly, I do hope you will take a look at the page and make the correction. I keep getting the error message: "Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Wikidata' not found." Maybe ask someone on Wikidata? ...among the small (mostly African) WPs I support with technical edits that make content more accessible. I'm not studying any of these languages, just rely on my wiki toolkit and skills set that includes proofreading and copy/paste to navigate between the WPs and Wikidata. (I'm also a fast typist and accurate proofreader.) I'd be highly appreciative if you'd watch for my edits in "Recent changes" (Sauye-sauyen baya-bayan nan) and feel free to intervene as you see fit.
