A watan Maris, shekara ta 2021, Majalisar dokokin Scotland ta zartar da Yarjejeniyar Majalisar Dinkin Duniya kan 'Yancin Yara (Incorporation) (Scotland) Bill wanda ya haɗa Yarjejeniyar cikin dokar cikin gida. While there have been other more welcome developments, such as the incorporation of the European Convention on Human Rights into domestic law and the increasing reference to the UNCRC by the judiciary, for children in the UK to fully realise and enjoy their rights, the UNCRC must be incorporated into domestic law.

The bill therefore requires reconsideration by the Scottish Parliament. More than a year after the Supreme Court judgment, the Scottish Government is yet to bring forward the required amendments.
