Ana samun simulators na SPIM don tsarin aiki na Windows (PCSpim), Mac OS X da Unix / Linux (xspim). Ya zuwa lokacin da aka saki 8.0 a watan Janairun 2010, an ba da lasisi ga simulator a ƙarƙashin Lasisin BSD.

A cikin Janairu, 2011, babban fitowar sigar 9.0 yana da fasalin QtSpim wanda ke da sabon mai amfani wanda aka gina a kan Tsarin Qt UI na giciye kuma yana gudana akan Windows, Linux, da macOS. Daga wannan sigar, an kuma tura aikin zuwa SourceForge don ingantaccen kulawa. An samar da nau'ikan QtSpim don Linux (32-bit), Windows, da Mac OS X, da kuma PCSpim don Windows.

MARS (MIPS Assembler and Runtime Simulator) [1] wani IDE ne na tushen Java don Harshe na Shirye-shiryen Taron MIPS kuma madadin SPIM.An fara fitar da shi ne a shekarar 2005.  [ana buƙatar hujja]Koyaya, kamar yadda masu kula da shi biyu suka yi ritaya, [2] aikin ba ya cikin ci gaba mai aiki.[3]
