Shanta Edes Roland was born on 12th September,1990. She hails from Ugbegun in Esan Central L.G.A in Edo State. She attended Command children's School Mile2, Lagos and Girls'Model Secondary School Ubiaja, Edo State.On Completion of her Secondary Education,She gained admission to study Microbiology in Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma,Edo State. She did not just go and study but also to pursue her dreams.In 2008 she was among the top 15 in Face of Edo beauty pageant, She participated in Miss Ambrose Alli University in 2009, She won Miss Faculty of Natural Sciences in 2010. Then she graduated in 2012. Despite all her achievement during schooling,she did not decide to relax,rather her passion for Modelling increased and she deep into humanitarian Work. She was among the House Of Models Reality Show,which she gained a lot of fans because of the viewers and she won an Award As the Most Improved Housemate during the competition. She was afterwards Mobilized for her one Year Mandatory Service to Delta State. As a Corp Member she did not just serve her country but the people because of her love for Humanity. She donated 3 first Aid boxes with complete kits to Oshimili South local government in Asaba, She visited the old people's home in Ibaza in Delta State and donated all they needed. She donated 500 copies of note books to Ahambam primary school in Asaba and other people around the Community, She organized free summer lessons for them during the long break for 3 weeks with free note books and best 3 pupils was awarded after the exams n consolation prizes was given out also she uses the summer lessons to encourage the Pupils and lastly . Also,she donated 3 desktop computers in Okpanau School for the gifted children to start up there computer center in the school and motor able waste bin. She was given an award after her service year,she was one of the best Corp members of the state during her batch. More so, she participated in Miss ESAN land in 2012 and merge the third runner up and participated in Face of global beauties and won the title Face of ESAN international in 2013 .In Addition, She participated in Queen of South South Nigeria in 2014 and won the title Face of South South Nigeria 2014/2015.She was found worthy by the organization because of her personality and discipline to represent Nigeria in Miss tourism Universe in Lebanon 2015.
