English: Skępe is a town in Lipno County in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland, and is the seat of the urban-rural commune of Skępe. Since 1937, railway line No. 27 Toruń - Nasielsk has been running through the town and in the years 1975-1998, it belonged administratively to the Włocławek Voivodeship. The Mień River flows through the town and there are also three lakes in its area: Święta, Małe and Wielkie. Skępe received a town charter in 1445, was downgraded in 1869 but gained town rights again in 1997.
