Iftar, shi ne yin buda-baki a lokacin mangariba da al'ummar musulmi ke yi a cikin watan Ramadan a lokacin addhan (kiran salla) na sallar magriba[1].

Wannan shi ne abincinsu na biyu; azumin ranar ramadan yana farawa ne bayan an gama sahur kuma ana ci gaba da yin sa’o’in hasken rana, yana karewa ne da faduwar rana da buda baki.[2]

Iftar yana daya daga cikin muhimman abubuwan da ake yi lokacin watan ramadan, kuma an fi yinsa a tarin jama'a, da yan'uwa musulmai su zauna su ci su sha a tare wanda haka ke kara dankon zumunci a tsakanin[3]. A al'adance ana cin dabino guda uku domin buda baki, a yi koyi da Annabin Musulunci, Muhammadu (SAW) wanda ya yi buda baki ta wannan hanyar, amma wannan ba wajibi ba ne.
