Ana Hamu mace ce ta Māori ta Ngāpuhi iwi (ƙabilar) a arewacin New Zealand . Ta kasance mace mai matsayi mai girma. Hamu yana da alaƙa da Eruera Maihi Patuone .
An yi wa Hamu baftisma a ranar 5 ga Oktoban shekarar 1834 ta Revd. [Inda Aka Ɗauko Hoto da ke shafi na 9] Henry Williams kuma ya karɓi sunan Ana.[1]
Hamu ta kasance gwauruwar Te Koki, shugaban Te Uri-o-Ngongo Hapū . Suna da akalla 'ya'ya biyu tare, Te Ahara da Rangituke . Daga baya ta zama matar shugaban Pukututu.
Te Koki da Hamu sun ba da izinin Church Missionary Society (CMS) don zama ƙasa a Paihia.
Hamu ta sanya hannu kan Yarjejeniyar Waitangi a ranar 6 ga Fabrairu 1840, kuma tana ɗaya daga cikin mata kalilan da suka sanya hannu kan yarjejeniyar.[1]
An haɗa ta da Makarantar 'yan mata ta CMS a Paihia, inda ta ajiye yaran Māori a cikin iyakoki ta wurin kasancewarta.[2]
An yi imanin cewa tana da kimanin shekaru 60 lokacin da ta mutu a 1848.[2]
