Kessy ta sami digiri na biyu a fannin Kasuwancin Kasuwanci da kuma digiri na farko a fannin Kasuwanci da Tattalin Arziki na Duniya daga Jami'ar Liberty da ke Virginia. Kafin Ubongo, Kessy ta yi aiki tare da kungiyoyi daban-daban da suka hada da Ofishin Jakadancin Duniya na Adalci, Wells Fargo da Smile Africa, kuma ta tsara shirye-shiryen rage talauci da aka aiwatar a Zimbabwe da Zambia.[ana buƙatar hujja]

A ranar 10 ga watan Oktoba, 2018, Kessy na cikin masu kirkire-kirkire guda takwas da aka baiwa lambar yabo ta Ilimin Tarayyar Afirka. An gudanar da bikin baje kolin ilimantarwa a Afirka 2018 a birnin Dakar na kasar Senegal.[6]
