Ya yi murabus daga Majalisar Lardi a watan Mayun 2018.[5] A cikin Afrilu 2018, ya bar PML-N.[6]

An sake zaɓen Bakht a Majalisar Lardin Punjab a matsayin dan takarar Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) daga PP-259 (Rahim Yar Khan-V) kuma daga PP-261 (Rahim Yar Khan-VII) a cikin Zaben lardin Punjab na 2018.[7]
