Muhammadu Attahiru Dan Aliyu Babba (an haife shi a shekara ta alif 1903 – 1915) Shekarun 19th da kuma 20th, sun kuma kasance masu rudani ga tarihin Kalifancin Sokoto. A wannan lokutan Kalifofi sun fuskanci matsaloli dayawa musanman daga turawan mulkin mallaka.[1]
Karatu
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Attahiru na II biyu yayi karatu a karkashi mahaifinsa inda daga bisani ya koma karkashin sauran malamai. Shekarar shi hamsin da takwas (58) lokacin da turawa suka amince a nada shi a matsayin sabon sultan.[2]
Mubaya'a
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Bayan yakar Sokoto da turawa sukayi Lord Lugard ya tafi garin Sokoto inda Waziri Buhari bayan hijiran Kalifa Attahiru na daya (I). Ya kuma rubutawa Lord Lugard sako cewa za suyi mubayi’a shida sauran manyan Masarautar Sokoto. Yace danago naji baza su, hanamu sallah ba, ba su hana mu zakka ba kuma basu doge sai munbi addininsu ba sai na zauna dasu nayi aiki dasu. Turawa sun goyi bayan nada Attahiru na biyu. A matsayin sabon Sarkin Musulmi. Bayan an nemi Attahiru na farko ba’a ganshi ba kuma ba mai labarin sa, sai aka nada Attahiru na biyu da yardar Lord Lugard a ranar 21st ga watan Maris ɗin shekara ta alif 1903.[2]

Duk da matsi da kuma hali na takura daga turawan, inda wasu dayawa daga cikin Sarakuna basu dade ba kamar yadda shi yayi kuma yaci nasara.[2]
