A lokacin Ph.D., Attari ta gudanar da bincike kan yadda mutane ke fahimtar yawan makamashi da kayan aiki daban-daban ke amfani da su. Sun gano cewa sawun carbon na masu sadarwa yana shafar amincinsu da niyyar masu sauraron su don kiyaye makamashi kuma yana shafar tallafin masu sauraro ga manufofin jama'a da mai sadarwa ya ba da shawara.[3][4] Sun kuma nuna cewa mummunan tasirin babban sawun carbon akan amintacce an rage shi sosai idan mai sadarwa ya sake fasalin halayensu ta hanyar rage sawun carbon na kansu. Sakamakon waɗannan sakamakon suna da ƙarfi: ingantaccen sadarwa na kimiyyar yanayi da kuma bayar da shawarwari game da sauye-sauyen halayyar mutum da kuma tsoma baki na manufofin jama'a suna taimakawa sosai lokacin da masu ba da shawara ke jagorantar hanya ta hanyar rage sawun carbon.
