Tafkin Kossou (Faransanci: Lac de Kossou) shine babban tabki na Cote d'Ivoire. Ya ta'allaka ne akan Kogin Bandama na tsakiyar kasar. Tafki ne na wucin gadi, wanda aka kirkira a cikin shekarata 1973 ta hanyar lalata Kogin Bandama a Kossou (Dam ɗin Kossou). Kimanin mutanen Baoulé 75,000 suka yi gudun hijirar ta tafkin.
Tarihi
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Tafkin Kossou an kirkireshi ne bayan an gina madatsar ruwa ta Kossou a fadin kogin Bandama wanda aka kammala shi a shekarar 1973.[1] An kammala aikin Dam din Kossou a karkashin kulawar shirin Majalisar Dinkin Duniya na Raya Kasa, hukumar da abin ya shafa itace Marubuciya de Valle du Bandama (ADV). Ruwan sama a yankin da aka kama ya cigaba da ƙasa da matsakaicin lokacin, kuma yankin tabkin ya kasance kusan 50% na abin da aka zata; da yawa daga cikin manoman da aka kora daga matsugunansu sun yi iƙirarin mallakar gonakinsu.[2] A cikin 1983, mummunan fari da gobarar daji da yawa sun lalata amfanin gona da kofi da gonakin koko a kusa da tafkin, wanda ya haifar da babbar asara ta tattalin arziki.[2]
A cikin 2019, ana tunanin yin wani shiri don ƙirƙirar makircin hoto mai aiki da hasken rana a saman tafkin. Yana da damar shigar tsakanin megawatt 10 zuwa 20.[4]
Dabbobin daji
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Wani fasalin farkon tafkin shine cigaban yawan mutanen kabejin ruwa mai cutarwa (Pistia stratiotes) a saman ruwa.[5] Akwai Dorinar-ruwa wato; hippopotamuses da sauran dabbobin da ke cikin ruwa a tafkin, kuma an rubuta adadin tsuntsayen da suke zama a nan ko suna ziyartar yankin.[6]
Kafin a gina madatsar ruwan, babban nau'in kifin da aka samu a cikin kogin shi ne Labeo coubie da Alestes rutilus, tare da samun Tilapia zillii a cikin kwantan baya. Zuwa shekarar 1975, jinsunan da aka kama a cikin tabkin sun hada da kogin Nilu (Lates niloticus), Distichodus rostratus, Alestes baremoze, Brycinus nurse, Labeo senegalensis, Pellonula afzeliusi, kifin man shanu na Afirka (Schilbe mystus) da mudfish (Clarias anguillaris).
