Tea leaf grading
A cikin masana'antar shayi, ƙaddamar da ganyen shayi shine tsari na kimanta samfuran bisa ga inganci da Yanayin ganyen shayi da kansu.
Matsayi mafi girma na shayi na Yamma da Kudancin Asiya ana kiransu "lemun pekoe" (an taƙaita shi a matsayin "OP"), kuma mafi ƙasƙanci a matsayin "iska " ko "kura". Ana rarraba darajar shayi na Pekoe zuwa halaye daban-daban, kowannensu ya ƙayyade yawan ƙananan ganye da ke kusa (biyu, ɗaya, ko babu) da aka karɓa tare da buds na ganye. Inganci na pekoe ya kunshi kawai buds na ganye, wanda aka zaɓa ta amfani da ƙwallo na shatin yatsunsu. Ba a amfani da yatsun hannu da kayan aikin inji, don kauce wa rauni. Wasu nau'ikan ganye sun fi dacewa da wasu nau'ikan shayi. Misali, ana sarrafa mafi yawan farin shayi daga buds ko tsiro na shuka shayi.
Lokacin da aka murkushe shi don yin shayi, ana kiran shayi a matsayin "ya karye", kamar yadda yake a cikin "ya karaye orange pekoe"
Hakanan an raba darajar "OP" don haɗawa da rukunoni mafi girma fiye da OP, waɗanda aka ƙayyade da farko ta hanyar cikakkiyar ganye da girman; (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, Farko misali ne na matsayi mafi girma na OP.[1][2]
Iska da ƙura orthodox teas ("shafi na orthodox" ma'ana ana sarrafa ganye ne kawai ta hanyar al'ada) suna da ma'ana daban-daban. CTC shayi, wanda ya kunshi ganye da aka fassara zuwa uniform fannings ta na'ura, suna da wani tsarin grading.
