Ahmad Bashah bin Md Hanipah ɗan siyasan Malaysia ne . Shi memba ne na United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), wata jam'iyya a cikin hadin gwiwar Barisan Nasional (BN). Ya kasance Ministan Kedah daga 4 ga Fabrairu 2016 zuwa 10 ga Mayu 2018. An nada shi a matsayin Menteri Besar bayan Mukhriz Mahathir ya amince da sauka bayan ya rasa goyon bayan mafi rinjaye a majalisar jihar.[1][2][3][4] An rantsar da Ahmad Bashah a matsayin Menteri Besar na Kedah washegari bayan Mukhriz ya yi murabus, a ranar 4 ga Fabrairu, 2016.

Bayan nadin da aka nada shi a matsayin Menteri Besar, Ahmad Bashah ya yi murabus a matsayin Mataimakin Ministan Kasuwanci na Cikin Gida, Kungiyoyi da Abokin Ciniki kuma a matsayin Sanata.

A cikin zaben 2018, Ahmad Bashah ya kasa riƙe kujerar jihar Suka Menanti lokacin da ya sha kashi a hannun Zamri Yusuf, na Jam'iyyar Adalci ta Jama'a (PKR), a cikin gwagwarmaya ta kusurwa uku tare da Mohd Sabri Omar na Jam'antar Musulunci ta Pan-Malaysian (PAS).

A ranar 16 ga watan Agustan shekara ta 2016, Alor Setar MP Gooi Hsiao Leung ya zargi Ahmad Bashah da zargin kasashe na kasashen waje da shiga tsakani a gwamnatin Malaysia don kawar da shugabansu. Gooi ya tambayi idan Ahmad Bashah yana magana ne game da karar Ma'aikatar Shari'a ta Amurka (DOJ) don kwace kadarorin dala biliyan 1 a Amurka da aka saya da "kudi sata" daga 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Ahmad Bashah ya ce bai so wani "bangare na kasashen waje" don tantance shugabannin kasar na gaba da kuma karɓar abin da gwamnati ta bunkasa ba.[5]
