Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi (Jawi: ; an haife shi a ranar 4 ga watan Janairun shekara ta 1953) ɗan siyasan Malaysia ne wanda ya yi aiki Mataimakin Firayim Minista kuma Ministan Karkara da Ci gaban Yankin tun watan Disamba na shekara ta 2022. Wani memba na United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), ya yi aiki a matsayin jagoranta kuma shugaban hadin gwiwar Barisan Nasional (BN) tun daga watan Mayu 2018. Zahid ya kasance memba na majalisar (MP) na Bagan Datuk tun watan Afrilun 1995.

An haife shi a Perak, Zahid ya yi karatu kuma ya fara aiki a banki kafin ya shiga siyasa. Ya yi aiki a mukamai da yawa a karkashin tsohon Firayim Minista Abdullah Ahmad Badawi da Najib Razak daga Maris 2008 zuwa Mayu 2018.[1] Ya kuma kasance Mataimakin Firayim Minista daga Yuli 2015 zuwa Mayu 2018. Zahid ya zama Shugaban UMNO a shekarar 2018 bayan da aka ci jam'iyyar a zaben 2018. Ya yi aiki a matsayin Shugaban Jam'iyyar adawa na 14 daga Yuli 2018 zuwa Maris 2019. A karkashin jagorancinsa, UMNO da BN sun ci nasara a zaben jihar Malacca na 2021 da kuma zaben jihar Johor na 2022, amma sun sami mafi munin sakamako a tarihin Malaysia a zaben tarayya na 2022. Bayan BN ta kafa gwamnatin hadin gwiwa tare da Pakatan Harapan, an nada shi a matsayin Mataimakin Firayim Minista na Malaysia a watan Disamba na shekara ta 2022, wanda ya sa ya zama mutum na farko da aka nada shi a wannan mukamin sau biyu, a karkashin gwamnatoci daban-daban guda biyu.

An haifi Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi a ranar 4 ga watan Janairun 1953 a Bagan Datuk, Perak,[2][3] ɗan fari na yara tara (yara maza bakwai da mata biyu) a cikin iyali. A ranar 1 ga Oktoba 2011, mahaifiyarsa, Tuminah Abdul Jalil, ta mutu daga bugun jini da rikice-rikice na zuciya a garinsu Sungai Nipah Darat, Bagan Datoh . A baya an kwantar da ita a asibitin Sojojin Tuanku Mizan da ke Kuala Lumpur. Iyayensa biyu 'yan Malaysia ne da aka haifa a Indonesia.[4]

Wani malami na kasar Sin, Chen Jin Ting ne ya haife shi kuma ya sayar da ice cream tare na tsawon shekaru shida tare da iyalinsa lokacin da yake makarantar firamare. Chen bai sami ilimi sosai ba kuma zai yi keke daga gidansa a Simpang Tiga, Hilir Perak zuwa kusan kilomita uku yana sayar da ice cream. Chen ya auri mahaifiyarsa mai suna Guo Jin Luan . Mahaifinsa daga baya ya mutu a 1999, fiye da kwanaki goma bayan babban zaben wannan shekarar. Bayan zarge-zargen cewa yana adawa da kasar Sin, ya amsa yana tambaya: "Shin ina adawa da Sinawa lokacin da nake da mahaifin kula da kasar Sin?".[5]
