Akwasi Ampofo Adjei (1947 - 2004) wanda aka fi sani da Mr A.A.A ya kasance mawaƙin Ghana highlife.[1][2]

[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Malami ne ta sana’a amma saboda tasirin kiɗa ya yi tasiri a rayuwarsa ya bar aikin koyarwa, ya shiga harkar waka. Ya yi rikodin waƙarsa ta farko, guda ɗaya mai suna Obiara nfan’adwene mbra wanda a zahiri yana nufin mu haɗa kawunanmu gaba ɗaya.[3]
Ya kafa ƙungiyar mawaƙa ta Kum Apem Royals sakamakon rushewar ƙungiyar mawaƙa ta farko da ya shiga. Sabuwar ƙungiyar ta yi tasiri ga rayuwar wasu fitattun mawaƙa, kuma daga baya ta yi rikodin Wo ye Ananse a meye Ntikuma, wanda shine tushe wajen ƙirƙirar wasu kida kamar Girl bi nti. Ya yi rikodin kusan waƙoƙi 40 da kusan kundi 35 don yabo.[4]

- Shi da ƙungiyarsa sun ci lambar yabo ta Leisure a matsayin Band na shekara.
- An zabe shi a cikin makada 10 da Hukumar Bayar da Al'adu ta Kasa ta ba shi kuma aka karrama shi da nassoshi da faifan faifan Sharp.
- A shekarar 1990 Kwamitin sa ido na COSGA ya ba shi kyautar farashin GHC 500,000 saboda gagarumar gudummawar da ya bayar ga masana'antar kiɗa.
