Bikin Papa Nantwi biki ne na shekara-shekara da al'ummar Kumawu da ke gundumar Sekyere ta Gabas a yankin Ashanti na kasar Ghana ke gudanar da shi a cikin watan Maris na kowace shekara.[1] Bikin al'adu ne da duk Ashantis ke tunawa da shi duk da cewa al'adun gargajiya na faruwa a Kumawu. Ana amfani da bikin ne wajen tunawa da jarumtaka da sadaukar da kai na babban kakansu, Nana Tweneboa Kodua (I) wanda ake zargin ya sadaukar da rayuwarsa domin a sadaukar da shi don taimakawa Ashantis wajen fatattakar 'yan Gyaman da suka yi wa laifuka fiye da kima.[2]

[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Ana gudanar da bikin ne domin tunawa da al’amuran tarihi da suka faru a rayuwar masarautar Ashanti a zamanin Otumfuo Osei Tutu I.[3] Al’adar baka a tsakanin mutanen Kumawu shi ne yadda Gyaman da suka yi wa Ashantis tuwo a kwarya suka ci gaba da addabarsu. , Karfi sun kwace filayensu, gonakinsu, matansu da sauran dukiyoyinsu. Bayan mutuwar hadaya ta Nana Tweneboa Kodua I, sojojin Ashanti sun sami nasara akan Gyamans kamar yadda Okomfo Anokye ya yi annabci a ruhaniya. Idan mutum ya iya yanke wani yanki na saniyar da aka yanka kuma ya aika zuwa wurin da aka keɓe duk da dukan da aka yi masa, za a hukunta shi a matsayin jajirtacce kuma jajirtacce. Ya mallaki yankakken naman saniya kuma sarkin Kumawu ne ya ba shi.[5]
Ana gudanar da wasu gasa kamar gasar cin abinci, gasar raye-raye da wake-wake, gasar kyautuka gami da tsaftace muhalli da dashen itatuwa a yayin bikin.
