Dr Elimelek Hanakumbo Bulowa Mwanang'onze kwararren Malami ne a fannin ilimi ɗan ƙasar Zambia kuma tsohon ɗan siyasa. Ya yi aiki a matsayin memba na Majalisar Dokoki ta ƙasa mai wakiltar Bweengwa daga shekarun 1988 har zuwa 1991,[1] da kuma riƙe muƙamin Ministan Ilimi, Matasa da Wasanni. [2]

Mwanang'onze ya sami MSc a fannin ilimin ƙasa a Jami'ar Manitoba a shekara ta 1974, kafin ya sami digiri na uku a jami'a guda a shekarar 1978. Daga baya ya yi aiki a matsayin malami a Makarantar Mines a Jami'ar Zambiya, [3] kuma ya kasance shugaban kwamitin edita na Journal of African Marxists. [4] Daga baya ya zama ma'aikacin gwamnati kuma ya kasance babban sakataren ma'adinai. [5]

An zaɓi Mwanang'onze a matsayin ɗan majalisar dokokin ƙasar ne a babban zaɓen ƙasar na shekarar 1988 a daidai lokacin da ƙasar Zambiya ta kasance ƙasa mai jam'iyya ɗaya da jam'iyyar 'yancin kai ta United National Independence Party a matsayin jam'iyyar doka tilo.[6] Lokacin da aka ɓullo da tsarin dimokuraɗiyyar jam’iyyu da yawa a farkon shekarun 1990, bai tsaya takara a babban zaɓen shekara ta 1991 ba kuma Baldwin Nkumbula ya gaje shi. [7]
