Gawamaa ko Gawám'a ƙabilar Sudan ce.[1][2][3] Kabila ce babba a Arewacin Kordofan, kuma sunsansu kuma sun taimaka wajen kafa ƙungiyar walafa na kabilar Hawazma, ita kanta ƙungiyar babbar ƙungiyar Baggara.[4] A cewar shugaban mulkin mallaka na Burtaniya Harold MacMichael, Gawamaa na ɗaya daga cikin ƙabilu shida da ba na Hawazma ba da aka haɗa cikin ƙabilar Hawazma a tsakiyar ƙarni na sha takwas ta hanyar rantsuwa. Adadin membobinta kusan 750,000 ne. Mambobin wannan kungiya suna jin larabci na kasar Sudan . Dukkan membobin wannan ƙungiya musulmi ne.
