Hulet Ej Enese ɗaya ce daga cikin gundumomi a yankin Amhara na kasar Habasha. Wani bangare na shiyyar Misraq Gojjam yana iyaka da kudu da Debay Telatgen, daga yamma da Bibugn da Goncha, a arewa maso yamma da shiyyar Mirab Gojjam, a arewa kuma ta yi iyaka da kogin Abay (wanda ya raba shi da shiyyar Debub Gondar), a gabas ta Goncha Siso Enese, kuma a kudu maso gabas ta Enarj Enawga. Daga cikin garuruwan da ke cikin wannan sashin gudanarwa akwai Keraniyo, Mota da Sede.

Koguna a cikin Hulet Ej Enese sun haɗa da Tammi, wani yanki na Abay. Sabero Dilde (wanda kuma aka sani da "Gadar Portuguese ta Biyu" ko "Broken Bridge") ta ketare Abay a nan, tana haɗa Hulet Ej Enese tare da andabet woreda, wani yanki a Debub Gondar.

Bisa kidayar jama'a a shekarar 2007 da hukumar kididdiga ta kasar Habasha (CSA) ta gudanar, wannan gundumar tana da jimillar jama'a 275,638, adadin da ya karu da kashi 38.27 bisa dari bisa kidayar shekarar 1994, wadanda 137,382 maza ne da mata 138,256; 30,594 ko 11.10% mazauna birni ne. Yana da fadin murabba'in kilomita 1,496.69, Hulet Ej Enese tana da yawan jama'a 184.17, wanda ya fi matsakaicin yanki na mutane 153.8 a kowace murabba'in kilomita. An ƙidaya gidaje 64,272 a wannan gundumar, wanda ya haifar da matsakaicin mutum 4.29 ga gida ɗaya, da gidaje 62,477. Yawancin mazaunan sun yi addinin Kiristanci na Orthodox na Habasha, tare da 95.3% sun ba da rahoton cewa a matsayin addininsu, yayin da 4.66% na yawan jama'ar suka ce su musulmi ne.[1]

Ƙididdigar ƙasa ta 1994 ta ba da rahoton jimillar yawan jama'a na wannan yanki na 199,352 a cikin gidaje 39,245, waɗanda 99,829 maza ne kuma 99,523 mata; 20,554 ko 10.31% na yawan jama'arta mazauna birni ne. Ƙabilar mafi girma da aka ruwaito a cikin Hulet Ej Enese ita ce Amhara (99.93%). Yawancin mazaunan sun yi addinin Kiristanci na Orthodox na Habasha, tare da 93.37% sun ruwaito cewa a matsayin addininsu, yayin da 6.55% Musulmai ne.[2]
