Karoui Lazhar Chebbi (an haife shi 7 ga Oktoban shekarar 1927 a Chebbia ) wani lauya ne kuma ɗan siyasa ɗan kasar Tunisiya. Ya zama Ministan Shari'a a gwamnatin Mohamed Ghannouchi . [1] A yanzu haka memba ne na sabuwar kungiyar siyasa ta Nidaa Tounes .

Ya yi karatu da farko a Tozeur, sannan ya yi karatu a Jami'ar Ez-Zitouna da ke Tunis, inda ya cancanci zama lauya a shekarata 1954.

Yahudawa karatu a Tozeur sannan kuma a Zitouna ta Tunis. Ya sauke karatu daga Makarantar Koyon Shari'a ta Tunusiya a shekarar 1954 kuma ya yi aiki a matsayin magatakarda a Kotun Farko ta Tunusiya kuma a matsayin lauya daga 7 ga Oktoba 1956 har zuwa lokacin da aka nada shi Ministan Shari'a a 2011.

Ya kuma shugabanci theungiyar Tunusiya don ofaddamar da Nazarin Shari'a. Yana daga cikin wadanda suka assasa kungiyar Lauyoyin Magrib ta Larabawa a Algiers a shekarar 1970; Ya kuma yi aiki a Kungiyar Lauyoyin Larabawa da Kungiyar Lauyoyi ta Duniya.

An nada shi a ranar 17 ga Janairun 2011 a matsayin Ministan Shari'a a gwamnatin hadin kan kasa da aka kafa biyo bayan tafiyar Shugaban Jamhuriyar, Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali. Ya sanar a ranar 26 ga Janairu cewa an ba da sammacin kama kasa da kasa kan Ben Ali, da matarsa Leila da kuma dangin Trabelsi.

Bayan barin sa, ya shiga Nidaa Tounes wanda Beji Caid Essebsi ya ƙaddamar kuma ya zama mai kula da alaƙar doka.

A ranar 2 ga Fabrairu, 2015, an nada shi Wakilin na Shugaban Jamhuriyar Béji Caïd Essebsi.
