Mona Mohammed tana da BS (1991) da Ph.D. (2002) daga Jami'ar Alkahira.[1] Ta kasance mai bincike na postdoctoral a Makarantar Medicine ta Jihar Wayne daga shekarun 2005 har zuwa 2007.[2]  A cikin shekarar 2007, an ba ta kyautar asusun farawa daga gidauniyar Avon don ƙirƙirar ɗakin bincike na farko a Masar musamman don nazarin ilimin halittar kansar nono wanda yake a Jami'ar Alkahira.[3] Tun daga shekarar 2022 ita mataimakiyar farfesa ce a Jami'ar Alkahira.[4]
