Chief Tony Ene Asuquo (1966 - Agusta 15, 2006, kusa da Calabar, Jihar Cross River) shi ne jagoran kungiyar Bakassi Movement for Self-Determination, mai neman 'yancin kai na Bakassi. Ya kara da sanin kasashen duniya ne bayan kungiyarsa ta bayyana aniyar ta a ranar 6 ga watan Agusta, 2006, na neman ‘yancin Bakassi daga Najeriya, wadda a baya-bayan nan ta yi rashin nasara a shari’ar kotun kasa da kasa kan yankin da kasar Kamaru ke shirin yi, a lokacin shugaba Olusegun Obasanjo. Obasanjo, don mika ragamar mulkin yankin ga sojojin Kamaru bisa yarjejeniyar Greentree.
Kafin rasuwarsa, Ene ya kalubalanci yarjejeniyar Green Tree a wata shari’ar Kotun Koli wadda ta sanya shi tare da wasu mutane 6 - Cif Orok Eneyo, Cif Emmanuel Effiong Etene, Ndabu Eyo Umo Nakanda, Emmanuel Okokon Asuquo, Ita Okon Nyong, da Richard Ekpenyong - kamar yadda masu kara. Masu shigar da kara sun yi nasara a shari'ar kotun, amma gwamnatin tarayyar Najeriya ta ki amincewa da hukuncin. Ene ya rasu ne a ranar 15 ga watan Agustan shekarar 2006 a kan hanyarsa ta zuwa Calabar a wani hatsarin mota da ya rutsa da mutane 21 ciki har da Ene; Ya yi tattaki ne daga hanyar Calabar zuwa Itu domin kai karar gwamnatin jihar Cross Rivers domin a sako Richard Ekpenyong, wanda jami’an tsaron jihar ke tsare da shi bisa umarnin gwamna Donald Duke na lokacin.[1]
