Zabayyana wani yanayi ne na haihuwa wanda ke bayyana a cikin mutane ta hanyar rashi ko cikakken rashi a cikin fata, gashi da idanu. Zabayyana yana hade da wasu lahani na hangen nesa, irin su photophobia, nystagmus, da amblyopia . Rashin launin fatar fata yana haifar da ƙarin kamuwa da kunar rana da kuma ciwon daji na fata. A lokuta da ba kasafai ba irin su Chédiak-Higashi ciwo, albinism na iya haɗawa da gazawa a cikin jigilar melanin granules.
