A lokacin barkewar zazzabin rawaya na 2016 a Angola da Jamhuriyar Demokradiyyar Kongo, WHO ta amince da amfani da allurar rigakafi don magance yiwuwar karancin allurar rigakawa.[7] A watan Agustan 2016, babban kamfen na allurar rigakafi a Kinshasa ya yi amfani da 1/5 na daidaitattun allurar rigakawa.[8] A cikin 2018 an ba da rahoton cewa allurar rigakafi ta raguwa tare da 1/5 na daidaitattun allurar rigakawa, wanda aka gudanar a cikin ciki, ya ba da kariya na shekaru 10, kamar yadda aka rubuta ta hanyar gwajin asibiti.[9]

A cikin Poliomyelitis, an nuna allurar rigakafin kashi ɗaya yana da tasiri yayin rage farashin gaba ɗaya, yana ba da allurar rigakawa ta Cutar shan inna ga wasu mutane.[10]
