Aprapransa asalinsa kayan abinci ne na Akan (kamar yadda sunan Akan yake nunawa) na mutane daga Gabas, Ashanti, Brong-Ahafo da wasu yankuna na Manyan Yankunan Accra na Ghana. Ana shirya shi da farko daga gasasshiyar garin masara (aka tom brown) da miyar dabino da wake da wake, ko kowane irin abinci a matsayin daban-daban kuma don daidaitawa tare da wasu kayan hadin daban. Abincinta ne wanda ake amfani da shi a lokuta na musamman kuma ana fargabar ɓacewa.
Aprapransa a matsayin cikakken abinci ba abinci bane wanda galibi akan sameshi akan titunan ƙasar Ghana ko ake shirya shi kowace rana a cikin gidan. Yawanci Akanwa suna yi masa aiki a lokuta na musamman kamar bikin aure, bikin suna, bikin ranar haihuwa, aikin abinci na iyali, da sauransu. Sunanta ya samo asali ne daga gaskiyar cewa cikakken abinci ne tare da miyar sa / stew ɗin da aka haɗa wanda kawai zai buƙaci shafa hannu (prapra wo nsa) don ci.
Abubuwan haɓaka da shiri
