Babangida SM Nguroje tsohon mataimakin kakakin majalisar wakilan Najeriya ne. [1] Ya wakilci mazaɓar Sardauna/Gashaka/Kurmi na jihar Taraba a 5th (2003-2007) [2] da 6th (2007-2011) ɗan majalisar wakilai ta ƙasa a ƙarƙashin inuwar jam'iyyar People's Democratic Party (PDP). Nguroje ya riƙe muƙamai da lambobin yabo da dama, waɗanda suka haɗa da Garkuwan Sardauna, Makama Gashaka, da kuma Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR). [3] [4]

An haifi Nguroje a shekarar 1971 a garin Nguroje dake ƙaramar hukumar Sardauna a jihar Taraba. Ya yi karatunsa na farko a Central Primary School Nguroje a shekarar 1983, sannan ya yi karatun sakandare a Kwalejin Gwamnatin Tarayya ta Wukari a tsohuwar Jihar Gongola, yanzu Jihar Taraba. Daga nan sai ya wuce Jami’ar Maiduguri, inda ya samu digirin digirgir (B.Sc.) a fannin kasuwanci, inda ya kammala a shekarar 1997. [4] Har ila yau, yana da digirin digirgir (PhD Honoris Causa) a fannin Gudanar da Tallafawa daga Jami'ar Pottstown, Amurka (African campus), wanda aka ba shi a cikin shekara ta 2019.

A lokacin da yake siyasa, an zaɓi Nguroje sau biyu a matsayin ɗan majalisar wakilai ta tarayya, mai wakiltar mazaɓar Sardauna/Gashaka/Kurmi ta jihar Taraba (daga shekarun 2003 zuwa 2011). [5] Shi ne kodinetan jam’iyyar All Progressives Congress (APC) Tsoffin ‘yan majalisar wakilai na ƙasa. [6] Ya kuma taɓa zama tsohon shugaban kwamitin gudanarwa na hukumar bunktasa zuba jari ta Najeriya (NIPC), [7] kuma ya kasance Daraktan Arewa maso Gabas a kwamitin yakin neman zaɓen shugaban ƙasa da aka wargaza na kungiyar yakin neman zaɓen Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Shettima.
