Tsakanin shekarun 1992 da 2007, Albertyn ta yi aiki a Cibiyar Nazarin Shari'a (CALS), cibiyar bincike da ƙarar da ke haɗe da Jami'ar Witwatersrand (Wits) a Johannesburg. Albertyn ita ce ta kafa Ƙungiyar Haihuwar Haihuwa yayin da take CALS.[6] Ta kuma yi aiki a kwamitin zartarwa na Majalisar Ci Gaban Kundin Tsarin Mulki na Afirka ta Kudu,[7] da kuma a kan allon edita na Jarida ta Afirka ta Kudu kan 'Yancin Ɗan Adam, Jami'ar Oxford Human Rights Hub Journal, da kuma Jaridar Ilimin Shari'a ta Afirka ta Kudu.[2]
