Daddy Lumba (an haife shi 29 Satumba 1964) mawaƙin Ghana ne. An haifi Lumba Charles Kwadwo Fosu a wani ƙauye da ake kira Nsuta Amangoase a gundumar Sekyere ta tsakiya, kusa da Mampong a Yankin Ashanti. Mutane da yawa sun ɗauke shi a matsayin babban mawaƙin Ghana na kowane lokaci.[1]
Mahaifinsa, Owoahene Kwadwo Fosu, malami, ya mutu lokacin Lumba yana ƙarami. Mahaifiyarsa, Comfort Gyamfi, wacce aka fi sani da Ama Saah, ita ma malamar makaranta ce. Ta mutu a 2001 a Kumasi. Mutuwar ta ta kasance babban barna ga Lumba saboda a zahiri ita ce komai a gare shi. Yawancin waƙoƙin Daddy Lumba, waɗanda suka haɗa da "Anidasoɔ Wɔhɔ Ma Obiara", "Ohia Asɛm", "Ɛmmere Pa Bɛba", "Agya Bi Wua Agya Bi Tease", an sadaukar da ita gare ta.[2]

Shi ne jagoran ƙungiyar mawaƙan Sakandaren Juaben daga 1983 zuwa 1984 inda Christabel ya kasance malamin kiɗa kuma ya kammala a 1985. A Juaben SHS, Lumba ya kafa ƙungiyar Lumba Brothers tare da abokansa Yaw da Kwabena da budurwa, Theresa Abebrese.
Bayan makaranta, tare da taimakon budurwarsa Theresa, Lumba ya yi tattaki zuwa Jamus don neman filayen kiwo.
A Jamus, ya sadu da Ernest Nana Acheampong. Nana ta riga ta kafa ƙungiya mai suna mafarkai na magana tare da fararen fata. Iyakar abin da Lumba ya sani a lokacin shine kiɗan bishara, kuma ya yaba wa Nana Acheampong don gabatar da shi ga kiɗan manyan mutane.
Sun kafa wata ƙungiya mai suna Lumba Brothers, sunan ɗaya da ƙungiyarsa ta farko lokacin yana Juaben SHS.
Ma'auratan sun shirya fitar da wani kundin waƙa a shekarar 1986 amma saboda matsalolin kuɗi, an fitar da kundin a shekarar 1989 tare da taimakon matar Lumba, Akosua Serwaa, wacce ta fitar da kundin. Sunan kundin shine Yɛɛyɛ Aka Akwantuo Mu.
Daddy Lumba, gaba ɗaya, ya fitar da kundi 33.[2] Albam ɗin sun haɗa da waɗanda aka yaba sosai kamar su Aben Wɔha, Awosuɔ, Obi Ate Me So Buɔ, Sika Asɛm da Ebi Se Ɛyɛ Aduro.
A halin yanzu yana shirye -shiryen faifai na kundi na 34, mai taken Nnipa Fon Na Ɛka Nsɛm Fon.[3]
Ya kasance mai daidaituwa tare da fitar da waƙoƙin da aka buga da yawa tun daga lokacin kuma ya kafa kansa a matsayin ɗaya daga cikin mashahuran mawaƙan Ghana.
Ya gabatar da mawaƙin soyayya na gaba, Ofori Amponsah, ta hanyar faifan waƙoƙin sa Woho Kyere (1999). Haɗin Daddy Lumba a cikin 1999 tare da tauraruwar da ta taso ya samar da buga biyar kuma ya harbi Ofori Amponsah a cikin mashahuri. Gabaɗaya ya haɓaka ayyukan mawaƙa daban -daban na ƙasar Ghana 13.
A shekarar 1999, ya lashe kyaututtuka uku da suka haɗa da Best Album, Artist of the Year da kuma Mafi shaharar Waƙar Shekara a Gasar Kiɗan Ghana. Kafin shekara ta 2002, Daddy Lumba yana fitowa kowace shekara tare da kundin kiɗan.[4]
Ayyukansa na solo ba su da rigima; lokaci guda zai saki faifan bishara kuma na gaba zai girgiza mutane da waƙoƙin sa na tsokana da bidiyon kiɗa. Ya kuma fuskanci tuhuma da zubar da fata.[5] Amma duk da haka ya musanta zubar da fata.[6]
Yana da nasa ɗakin studio inda yake yin duk ayyukan sa kuma yana da injinan ƙwarewa, kwafin kaset, ɗorawa, bugawa da ƙuntatawa na musamman don ayyukan sa. Kiɗansa ya ɓullo cikin shekaru da yawa don nuna canje -canjen ɗanɗano da buƙatun kiɗa; a halin yanzu ana iya bayyana shi a matsayin mai fasahar zamani ta zamani. Daddy Lumba ya lashe lambar yabo ta kiɗan Ghana da dama da sauran kyaututtuka masu kyau kuma yana ci gaba da jan hankalin matasa da tsofaffi.
Yawancin waƙoƙinsa sun samu goyon bayan mawaƙiyar mata Yvonne Ohene Djan, wacce aka fi sani da SHE.[7]
