Gidan tarihin Nelson Mandela, wanda aka fi sani da Gidan Mandela, gidan ne a kan titin Vilakazi, Orlando West, Soweto, Afirka ta Kudu Mandela ya rayu daga 1946 zuwa 1962. Yana da lamba 8115, a kusurwar tVilakazi da Ngakane, mai ɗan gajeren hanya daga Tutu House, gidan Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.[1]

Mandela ya ba da gudummawar gidan ga Soweto Heritage Trust (wanda shi ne ya kafa ta) a ranar 1 ga watan Satumba 1997, don gudanar da shi a matsayin gidan kayan gargajiya.

An ayyana shi a matsayin Gidan Tarihi na Ƙasa a cikin shekarar 1999.[2]

A cikin shekarar 2007, Soweto Heritage Trust ta ƙaddara cewa gidan Mandela yana buƙatar kulawa sosai. Don haka, a cikin watan Yunin 2008 an gyara aikin Dogara don mai da hankali musamman kan Gidan Mandela. An kaddamar da sabuwar cibiyar baƙo, an ba da izinin aikin maidowa, an nada ƙwararren mai kula da aiki, an kuma shirya sake horar da ma’aikata. An rufe ginin ga jama'a a cikin watan Afrilu 2008[9] kuma aikin gini ya fara a ranar 18 ga watan Yuli 2008.
