Hajiya Zainab Maina, FCIA, MFR (an haife ta ranar 7 ga watan Agusta, 1948) a Jihar Adamawa da ke Arewacin Najeriya. Ta kasance tsohuwar ministan mata da walwalar jama'a ta Gwamnatin Tarayya Najeriya, wadda aka nada ta a watan Yulin shekarar 2011.[1][2]

Zainab Maina ta fito ne daga jihar Adamawa dake Arewa Maso Gabashin Najeriya. Ta yi karatu a "Kaduna Polytechnic" inda ta samu Diploma a fannin Gudanarwa da kuma karatun gaba da Diploma ND a fannin girke-girke da kula a otel (Catering and Hotel Management). Bugu da kari, ta kuma samu shaidar karatun sakataranci (Secretarial Studies) a "Federal Training Centre Kaduna" , sannan kuma a cibiyar "Centre for Development & Population, Washington DC", dake USA inda ta samu karatu a kan "Institution Building Activities" .

Sannan Kuma ta auri Alhaji Umar Joji Maina, dan-Malikin Mubi dake Jihar Adamawa kuma suna da 'ya'ya tare.

Kafin a ba ta matsayin minista a cikin watan Julin 2011, Maina ta kasance:

  • Board Chairman, National Commission for Nomadic Education, Kaduna (2009–2011);
  • Board Chairman, Garki Microfinance Bank (1998);
  • Board Chairman, NCWS, Garki Microfinance Bank, Abuja (1997);
  • Deputy Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee FCT Command (1998-Date);
  • Member, Vision 2010 Committee (1997);
  • Board Member, National Programme on Immunization (1998–2000);
  • Board Member, Adamawa State Primary Schools Board (1991–1994);
  • Board Member, Family Economic Advancement Programme (FEAP) (1997–2000).

Ta kasance shugabar kungiyar National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) na Najeriya. Maina na daga cikin masu fada aji a jam'iyyar PDP mai ci na lokacin sannan ta kasance memba na kwamitin dattawa na PDP, majalisar amintattu na jam'iyyar, da darekta ta musamman a fannin harkokin mata a kamfe na tshohon shugaba Jonathan da mataimakin shi Namadi Sambo (2010), Kwamitin tantance 'yan takara na jam'iyar PDP (2010); Wakiliyar mata ta kasa, Majalisar kamfe na shugaban kasa na jam'iyyar PDP (2007), Wakiliya a taron National Political Reform Conference (NPRC)-2005; Wakiliyar Mata na kwamitin sulhu na jam'iyyar PDP "PDP Reconciliation Committee on theExecutive/Legislative Impasse" (2002); Mai saukan baki na kasa da kasa na taron Home Economics and Consumer Affairs International Council of Women (ICW) da aka yi a Bangkok,Thailand (1993).[2]
