Jami'ar Multimedia ta Kenya (MMU) jami'a ce ta jama'a da ke Nairobi . [1] Jami'ar tana ba da darussan IT & masu alaƙa, kafofin watsa labarai, Kasuwanci, Injiniya, Kimiyya ta Jiki (Fisika da Chemistry) da ilimin kimiyyar zamantakewa.

Kenya

Jami'ar tana da sansani biyu:

  • Babban harabar tana kusa da gefen yammacin Nairobi National Park a kan Magadi Road a Nairobi. Yana da gidan kayan gargajiya na sadarwa da dakunan zama da yawa.[2]
  • Kwalejin ta biyu tana cikin Gundumar Kasuwanci ta Tsakiya ta Nairobi, a cikin Uniafric House a kan titin Loita . [3]

An kafa MMU a cikin 1948 lokacin da aka kafa ma'aikatar a matsayin Makarantar Horar da Tsakiya don aiki a matsayin Makarantun Horar da Jakadancin Gabashin Afirka kafin canzawa zuwa Kamfanin Sadarwa da Sadarwa na Kenya (KPTC). [4] Wannan ya faru ne bayan rushewar al'ummar Gabashin Afirka a shekarar 1977. A shekara ta 1992, an inganta kwalejin zuwa Kwalejin Fasaha ta Sadarwa ta Kenya a karkashin KPTC kuma daga baya (1999) ya zama reshe na Telkom Kenya Ltd (TKL), bayan KPTC ya rabu zuwa Kamfanin Jakadancin Kenya, Telkom Kenya LTD da Hukumar Sadarwa ta Kenya (CCK). [5] Kolejin ya zama reshe na CCK bayan mallakar TKL a shekara ta 2006. A shekara ta 2008, an inganta shi a karkashin Sanarwar Shari'a No. 155 na 2008 zuwa Kwalejin Jami'ar Multimedia ta Kenya a matsayin kwalejin da ke cikin Jami'ar Aikin Gona da Fasaha ta Jomo Kenyatta . Bayan binciken da Hukumar Ilimi ta Jami'a ta gudanar, wani bangare da gwamnatin Kenya ta ware don kula da ingancin ilimi mafi girma a kasar, [7] tsohon shugaban kasar nan, Hon. Mwai Kibaki, ya ba da takardar shaidar jami'a ga kwalejin, don haka ya ba shi matsayin jami'a a ranar 1 ga Maris, 2013. [5] Tun daga wannan lokacin, an san ma'aikatar da Jami'ar Multimedia ta Kenya .

Darussan MMU sun haɗa da takardar shaidar, difloma, digiri na farko da kuma karatun digiri na biyu. Ta hanyar cibiyarta don ci gaba da Ilimi, jami'ar tana ba da gajeren darussan da aka tsara don haɓaka shirye-shiryen ilimi da ake bayarwa da kuma ba wa ɗalibai ƙarin horo.

Kalandar ilimi ta MMU tana aiki a cikin watanni biyu da ke gudana daga Janairu zuwa Afrilu da Satumba zuwa Disamba.

Laburaren karatu

Tarin ya rufe duk shirye-shiryen da jami'ar ta bayar, wato, Media da Sadarwa, Injiniya, ICT da shirye-shirye na Kasuwanci. Laburaren yana gudanar da horo kan yadda za a sami damar samun damar e- albarkatun a cibiyar e- albarkatu da ke cikin ɗakin karatu. Laburaren MMU ya ƙunshi sashe huɗu: sabis na yaduwa, sabis na fasaha, ci gaban tattarawa da cibiyar e- albarkatun.

Gidan kayan gargajiya na ICT

MMU tana da gidan kayan gargajiya na ICT. Gidan kayan gargajiya na ICT yana cikin babban harabar tare da hanyar Magadi, kuma yana buɗewa ga jama'a gaba ɗaya. A zahiri ita ce mafi girman gidan kayan gargajiya na Ict a Gabas da Afirka ta Tsakiya.

MMU za ta shiga cikin ci gaban Konza Technology City . [15] MMU Kenya ta karɓi irin wannan dabarar kamar MMU Malaysia wanda MMU Kenya ke hanzarta ci gaban bangarorin Bayanai da Ilimi na Kenya.[8] Wannan yana daya daga cikin ginshiƙan da aka nufa don canza Kenya zuwa tattalin arzikin matsakaicin kudin shiga a karkashin Vision 2030.

A cikin shekara ta 2012, an san MMU a matsayin babbar jami'ar jama'a a Kenya a cikin ƙwarewar ICT. Har ila yau, cibiyar horo ce ta SAP Skills for Africa Program wanda babban manufarsa ita ce horar da masu karatun jami'ar Afirka a aikin injiniya na software.[16]
