Jami'ar Pentecostal ta Uganda tana cikin zuciyar Gundumar Kabarole, Fort Portal City, Uganda . Jami'ar ta fara aiki a shekara ta 2001 a matsayin Makarantar Shari'a da Nazarin Kwararru ta Grotius, tare da harabar a Mengo, unguwa a Lubaga Division a yammacin Kampala, babban birnin Uganda. Makarantar da farko ta yi aiki a matsayin wani ɓangare na wata jami'a. A shekara ta 2004, Majalisar Kasa ta Uganda don Ilimi Mafi Girma (UNCHE) ta shawarci makarantar don neman lasisi daban.
