Mohammed Osman Hassan Salih Wardi ( Larabci: محمد عثمان حسن وردي‎; 19 Yuli 1932 - 18 Fabrairu 2012), wanda kuma aka sani da Mohammed Wardi, mawaƙi ne ɗan Sudan ta Nubian, mawaki kuma marubuci. Idan aka waiwayi rayuwarsa da sana’arsa ta fasaha, marubuci dan kasar Sudan Lemya Shammat ya kira shi “wani mutum mai kwazo a harkar kida da al’adun Sudan, wanda gwanintarsa da gagarumar gudunmawarsa ba ta kai a Sudan ba.[1]

An haifi Wardi a ranar 19 ga Yuli 1932 a wani karamin kauye mai suna Sawarda kusa da Wadi Halfa a Arewacin Sudan. Mahaifiyarsa, Batool Badri, ta rasu yana jariri, kuma mahaifinsa, Osman Hassan Wardi, ya rasu yana dan shekara tara. Ya taso ne a wurare dabam-dabam da al’adu, ya kuma samu sha’awar sha’awar waqa, adabi, kixa da waqa. A cikin 1953, Wardi ya tafi Khartoum a karon farko don halartar babban taro a matsayin wakilin koyarwa na yankinsa. Wardi ya yi ta amfani da kayan kida iri-iri, gami da kissar Nubian kuma ya rera waƙa cikin harsunan Larabci da na Nubian duka. An bayyana shi a matsayin daya daga cikin "manyan mawakan Afirka", tare da magoya bayansa musamman a cikin Kahon Afirka . Wakokinsa suna magana ne akan batutuwa kamar soyayya, sha'awa, al'adun Nubian, al'adun gargajiya, juyin juya hali da kishin kasa, tare da wasu daga cikin wakokinsa na siyasa wanda ya haifar da daure shi. Ya kasance tare da hagu na siyasa kuma memba na Jam'iyyar Kwaminisanci ta Sudan (mafi girma a Afirka a lokacin yakin cacar).[2] Bayan juyin mulkin da sojoji suka yi a 1989, ya bar Sudan don gudun hijira a Alkahira da Los Angeles. A cikin 1990, Wardi ya buga wa 'yan gudun hijirar Sudan 250,000 wasan kwaikwayo a wani sansanin 'yan gudun hijira a Itang, Habasha.[3] Ya koma Sudan a watan Mayun 2002, kuma an ba shi digirin girmamawa daga Jami'ar Khartoum a 2005.

Wardi ya yi fama da ciwon koda daga baya a rayuwarsa. Daga karshe an yi masa dashen koda, bayan daya daga cikin magoya bayansa ya ba shi kyautar koda a shekarar 2002. Ya rasu ne a ranar 18 ga Fabrairun 2012 kuma an binne shi a makabartar Farouk da ke birnin Khartoum.[4]
