Daga nan sai ya tafi jihar Legas inda ya yi karatunsa na sakandare a kwalejin ‘Exam Success Correspondence College’ da ke Legas daga 1973 zuwa 1976. Domin karatunsa na jami'a, ya yi karatu a jami'ar Ibadan tsakanin 1976 zuwa 1989 inda ya samu shedar shaida daban-daban ciki har da na Farfesa
