Oku Ampofo (Amanase, 4 ga Nuwamba, 1908 - 1998) ɗan wasan Ghana ne. Ya zama dan Ghana na farko da ya karɓi tallafin karatu na gwamnati don yin karatun likitanci.[1]

Aiki

Ya fara sassaka sassaƙa a lokacin karatun likitanci a Edinburgh, amma daga baya ya sami suna ta ƙasa da ƙasa.[4] Wani abin lura musamman shine ƙungiyarsa ta Oku Ampofo foundation wanda ke tallafawa ayyukan ci gaban al'umma ga mutanen Ghana da musamman birnin Mampong-Akuapem inda ya shafe shekaru da yawa yana aikin likitanci. Gidauniyar tana tallafawa bincike kan magungunan ganye da ake buƙata don magance munanan cututtuka a Ghana, Afirka ta Yamma da ma duniya baki ɗaya. Ampofo ya mutu a 1998.[5]
Aikin fasaha
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Oku ya yi katako da aiki mai launi iri-iri ko kankare. Ka'idar sa da tunanin sa yana samun wahayi daga al'adu da zamantakewar addini na rayuwar Ghana.[3]

Aikinsa ya yi tasiri ga masu zane -zanen Ghana, masu zane -zane, masu sassaƙaƙƙu da masu tukwane. Ya halarci muhimmin baje kolin Tendances et Confrontations wanda aka shirya yayin bikin Mondial des Arts Nègres a Dakar a 1966.[6]
