Opay Digital Services Limited wanda aka fi sani da Opay, kuma tsohon Paycom Nigeria Limited, kamfani ne na fintech mai sarrafa kudi ta wayar hannu wanda Zhou Yahui ya kafa a 2013 mai hedikwata a Ikeja, Jihar Legas, Najeriya. Yana cikin manyan kamfanoni huɗu na fintech a Najeriya: Moniepoint Inc., Kuda, da PalmPay.[1]
Tarihi
[gyara sashe | gyara masomin]Opay da aka sani da Paycom Nigeria Limited. An kafa ta a shekarar 2013, kuma babban bankin Najeriya ya ba shi lasisi a shekarar 2018. Kamfanin Inshorar Deposit na Najeriya ne ya ba shi inshora. A watan Mayun 2019, kamfanin Opay ya kaddamar da aiyukan sa na Point of sale, wanda akasari ya mamaye Najeriya yayin yajin aikin naira. A watan Nuwamba 2021 aka nada Olu Akanmu a matsayin babban jami'in Opay har sai ya yi murabus a 2023.[2]
A watan Mayun 2022, Opay Nigeria ta hada hannu da Verve International don yin rijistar katin cire kudi wato ATM. Opay ya tsawaita zuwa Masar a cikin 2021, kuma Babban Bankin Masar ya amince da shi tare da ba da katunan da aka riga aka biya. A cikin Satumba 2021, Opay ya sami tallafin ƙasa da ƙasa wanda bankin Soft ke jagoranta.
Abokan ciniki na Opay sun yi dandazo a hedkwatar kamfanin da ke Legas, kan sanarwar zamba daga wani wakili. A shekarar 2023 kotun shari’a a jihar Kano ta yanke wa wani wakilin Opay hukuncin daurin watanni tara a gidan yari bisa samunsa da laifin damfarar kudi ga wani abokin ciniki ta yanar gizo.
