Peggoty Mutai ƙwararriya ce a fannin sunadarai, kuma mai ilmin kemistri ce a ƙasar Kenya. An haife ta a Kericho, abubuwan da ta ke so sun haɗa da sinadarai na magani, musamman yin aiki tare da neman sabbin hanyoyin magance tsutsotsin parasitic.[1]

Bayan ta yi karatu a Jami'ar Nairobi ta Kenya, inda ta samu digirin farko na Kimiyya da Digiri na biyu a fannin Pharmacy da Pharmaceutical analysis, ta samu karɓuwa a Jami'ar McGill da ke Kanada don ci gaba da karatun digirin nata, wanda ta fara a Jami'ar Cape. Town, Afirka ta Kudu.[2] Mutai ta koma Jami'ar Cape Town inda ta kammala digirinta a shekarar 2014. Mutai tana cikin 'yan uwa goma sha biyar da L'Oréal-UNESCO Awards ga Mata a Kimiyya suka zaɓa don karɓar malanta na duniya don ci gaba da ayyukan binciken su a shekarar 2012.[3] A halin yanzu ita malama ce a sashin ilimin harhaɗa magunguna da magunguna a Jami'ar Nairobi kuma shugabar sashen Pharmacognosy.

Mutai ta girma a Kericho, Kenya. Ta bayyana cewa son kimiyya ya motsa ta ne saboda son yanayi da kuma yanayin kwanciyar hankali da ta samu a lokacin kuruciya.[4]
