Socrate Safo darakta ne, mai shirya fina-finai, kuma Daraktan kere-kere a Hukumar Al’adu ta ƙasa (NCC) a Ghana. Fitaccen mutum ne a Ghallywood kuma shugaban Move Africa Productions.[1]

Safo ya fara sana’ar fim ne a lokacin da yake aiki a matsayin mai kula da harkar fim. Da farko yana ɗaukar horon zama makanikin mota. A wannan lokacin ne ya ɗauki fim ɗinsa na 1992 Ghost Tears, wanda ya zama nasarar kasuwanci.[2] Fim ɗin ya taimaka wajen fara harkar fim ɗin fatalwa ta Ghana.

Safo ya kasance jami'in hulda da jama'a na kungiyar masu shirya fina-finai ta Ghana. Ya yi fice a cikin shirin VICE na shekara ta 2011 The Sakawa Boys, wanda ya yi magana game da tasirin Safo a kan yunkurin Sakawa a Ghana. Safo ya yi ikirarin yin fina-finai sama da 100 tsakanin 1988 da ɗaukar fim ɗin.

A watan Yuni 2017, an naɗa Safo a matsayin Darakta na Fasahar kere-kere a NCC. A baya, yana aiki a matsayin Babban Sakatare a Hukumar NCC.

A watan Mayu 2020, Barbara Oteng Gyasi ta naɗa Safo a matsayin Shugaban Kwamitin Rarraba Fina-Finai, wanda aka kafa a ƙarƙashin Hukumar Kula da Fina-Finai ta Ghana. Burin kwamitin dai shi ne tsarawa da inganta harkar fina-finai ta Ghana. A shekarar 2021, ya sanar da yin murabus daga harkar fim.[3]
